Career Services
Career Services provides career counseling; resume, cover letter, and interviewing skills assistance; and listings of permanent, temporary, on‐campus, internship, fellowship, and research positions. Career Services is responsible for Career Fairs, the Cooperative Education program, maintaining placement records, sponsoring workshops on aspects of graduate school and job search processes, and providing assistance to employers, including scheduling information sessions and on‐campus interviews.
Our mission at Career Services is to offer our diverse student population services that will enable them to be successful in finding and keeping an internship, co-op or job offer. These services include workshops in Resume Writing, Interviewing Skills, and Preparing for the Career Fair. In addition, we offer opportunities to experience real life workplace settings such as offering the Etiquette Dinner, Career Closet for apparel, and creation of free business cards.
What We Offer:
- Career Closet
The Career Closet is a free career clothing bank that allows all Tech students to check out nice business and dress clothing for interviews, conferences, Career Fairs, and/or presentations. We also collect donations of professional clothing year-round.
- Resume Reviews/Mock Interviews
Complimentary resume reviews and mock interviews are available year round. Come visit Career Services to have your resume reviewed or to schedule a mock interview today! Check out these handy guides for writing resumes, cover letters, and more!

- Interview Room
Need a private room top have an interview or meeting? Contact Zoe Finholm at [email protected] to reserve our Interview Room in Fidel 262. Open Monday - Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm
- Workshops, Info Sessions, and Employer Interviews
Workshops on Resume Writing, Interviewing Skills, and Fair Preparation are offered every semester before Career Fair.
Company Info Sessions and Interviews are held on campus throughout the year.

StandOut provides feedback and tips for behavior and communication during a mock interview.
- StandOut allows you to record, review and re-record answers to many types of interview questions. It checks for hesitations and enunciation in answers to give you a comprehension score and can also time your responses to inform you of your interviewing skills.
- You can create an interview from pre-created interview questions or request something for a specific company/industry/graduate school/etc.
